I did not have the possibility to be with you yesterday on this nice day, but I was there in my heart. I am grateful to God for your 25 years work and I am very glad that we could work with KOEN in the past few years. I wish plenty blessing of God for further work of KOEN and for your personal life!

Dear workers and staff of KOEN!
I can be there with you only in my prayer and thanksgiving.
„But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth” (2Th. 2,13-14.)
Me, as the director of the Reformed Pedagogical Institute of the Hungarian Reformed Church, say thanks to God, for the work of the KOEN in Hungary and all around in the Carpathian-basin.
Thankful hearts we say thank for work and service Foundation KOEN for 25 years, for the summer Bible cources.
And we say thanks for personally for your service, your trips, your plans, discussions and for your prayers.
In numbers: Tens of thousands of miles, hundreds of thousands of children, and books, and pencils and scissors etc.
In retrospect, we see God's providence and grace. “And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee” (Deu 8,2).
If we look ahead, God promises us: “Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.”  (Psa 37,5-6)

Dank Liebe Aly, Erika, Dineke, Sarie, Wim und andere!   
Wir haben gut zu Hause gekommen. Es war eine sehr schöne und gesegnete Zeit im Holland! Echt könnten wir erfahren Eure Liebe. So ausmerskam habt ihr von uns kümmert. Es war gut zusammen sein im Dankbar-Gottesdient – zusammen bedanken Gottes Hilfe. Wir haben gefühlt dass wir sind im Gemeinschaft zusammen von Gnade Gottes. Bedanke ich sehr alles habt ihr für uns getan! Ich habe im Gemeinde erzahlt – das wie grosse Geschenk – das wir sind ganz andere Nation, weitweg von Euch – und so Liebe hat Gott Euch gegeben – das Jahr von Jahr Ihr kümmert von uns… Das führt uns dankbar! Mit anderem Leute sind wir wieder naher gekommen. Das finde ich auch gut. Wir müssen auch einander verstarken. Vielen Dank nochmal. Gott segne Euch alle!

Those, who participated on the intensive training course, organized by Koen and held by Bányai Sándor in 2009 November, had a great experience.
First of all, the atmosphere was that grabbed me. Playful, fun, joyful playing characterized those few days. It was good to rule out any other things which define our lives and play, to become a child or a problem-solver adult.
I liked the fact that we were dependent on each other for most of the games. Dependent on each other, with people who we haven't met before, but who became close to us in a short time.
I learned a lot. The games strengthened the willingness to cooperate, trust, responsibility, determination, perseverance in me. My game-box has enriched with lots of
new ideas, which I think I'll be able to use in many groups.
The leader himself was an example for me, who guided the whole course in the way, that it was hardly noticeable, that he is leading the group. He was great moderator, but he entrusted the decisions to the players. I think it is typical of us, leaders, educators, that we really like to dominate the scene and we are obstacles in this way of bringing creativity and independence. This was a great lesson for me.
Our leader had an incredible ingenuity, who showed us, that there was no need to use expensive props for a good game, for that purpose the waste tools were perfect to use.
I met many interesting methods, ideas, still I think that this was a small taste of a very big adventure. We would like to see more, to learn more, to own it. It might have seemed to be much, still it was just a lit a bit...
